Raw Food Project
Our poodles diet is one of the main priorties in our program,, as the inside health of your dog reflects the outside apperance and overall life quailty.

Along with having premium holistic vet care we have started working at producing our own meat to create the best food our dogs can have.

All of our meat animals are raised humanely with large living areas, fed an organic diet, and have adequate housing away from outside elements.
When processing day comes we have a trusted mobile butcher, Two Hearts Mobile Butcher, who comes to process the animals. This insure the animals never are stressed in transportation which would release a stress hormone that tiants the overall quailty of the meat.

Our overall goal is to produce enough meat to rotate our dogs' protien as different protiens carry different heat elements that balance dog's regulatory systems.

Rabbits
Our meat rabbits are a cross of Chincilla which is widely known as one of th best meat producing rabbits. We currently have three does and a buck that we plan on buliding upon to produce a sustainable amount of meat to rotate in our raw food.
Our does will have a community living setup with outside and inside access allowing them to live the most natural life possible.
Our Buck Fred lives in a large hutch with playpen access to enjoy the grass and stretching his legs.
Chickens (Eggs+Meat)
Our cxhickens are raised for meat and eggs. We currently have 11 laying hens with 15 up and coming pullets that will be laying for us in the near future. We have expanded the chickens run and coop to create a spacious area for all their chicken needs.

Each summer we also raise a batch of Cornish cross meat birds that we process. We allow them a secure buliding along with a run out into the grass.

Ducks
We have recent,ly added ducks to this project, Silver Appleyards to be exact. We chose this heritage breed due to the fact that they are great brooders and meat producers. The ducks live in a large run with a converted chicken coop were they spend the day lounging in their pool.
Pigs
Finally, our biggest meat producers would be the pigs we raise during the fall and winter months. My children look forward to catching the piglets at our local fair every year in the pig scramble. Then we spend the cooler months raising them in a large area of our woods where they are able to till up and root the ground.
